Lanella Wool OÜ protects the privacy of its customers and users.** Based on this, we have established the principles of this Privacy Policy, which addresses the collection, use, storage, and transfer of customer data. Personal data refers to information collected by Lanella Wool OÜ while fulfilling a contract with the customer, including its disclosure, usage, storage, and transmission. Our online store complies with European Union laws and the laws of the Republic of Estonia.

Using the online store is considered as your consent to these privacy terms.

Collection and Use of Personal Data

**Personal data collection for contact purposes:**

Personal data may be collected in the following ways:

– When contact details (your name, phone number, email address, postal address) are provided on our website or elsewhere.

– Through a registered customer account on the online store.

– Through cookies (cookies).

**Using collected personal data:**

Collected personal data allows us to notify customers about Cozy Wool product news and promotions. Customers who do not want to be part of our newsletter or receive notifications about products that may interest them can remove themselves from the database at any time. Customers can unsubscribe from newsletters by notifying us via email or following instructions provided in the footer of promotional emails.

We also use personal data to fulfill delivery obligations and customer responsibilities. To better serve customers, Lanella Wool OÜ may share information about individual users with third parties that provide services to the online store and are bound by confidentiality agreements. Third-party examples include transport service providers.

Your Rights Regarding Personal Data Processing

You have the right to access information about how your personal data is processed under the Personal Data Protection Act and other relevant laws. You can request the termination of personal data processing, as well as personal data correction, closure, deletion, and transfer. If you believe your rights are violated during personal data processing, you have the right to contact the Data Protection Inspectorate or take legal action unless a different method of dispute resolution is established by law. You may also have the right to request compensation as specified by the Law of Obligations.

Security and Data Access

Personal data is stored on EetaSoft (Eeva accounting software) servers located in European Union member states or territories that have joined the European Economic Area. Data may be transferred to countries deemed by the European Commission to have adequate data protection levels and to U.S. companies that are members of the Privacy Shield framework.

Access to personal data is limited to online store employees who need this information to resolve technical issues related to the use of the online store or to provide customer support. The online store implements appropriate physical, organizational, and IT security measures to protect personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorized access and disclosure.

Transmission of personal data to authorized processors (e.g., transport service providers or data hosting services) occurs under binding agreements. These third parties are required to maintain appropriate safeguards when processing personal data.

Access to and Correction of Personal Data

You can access and correct personal data via your user profile in the online store. If a purchase is made without a user account, you can view your personal data through customer support.

Withdrawal of Consent

If personal data processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent by notifying customer support via email.

Data Retention

When closing a customer account on the online store, personal data is deleted unless such data is necessary for accounting purposes or resolving consumer disputes. If a purchase is made without a customer account, the purchase history is retained for three years. In cases of payment disputes or consumer claims, personal data is retained until the claim is satisfied or the limitation period has expired. Accounting-related personal data is retained for seven years.

Data Deletion

To request the deletion of personal data, contact customer support via email: (shop@cozy-wool.com). Deletion requests will be answered within one month, specifying the timeframe for data deletion.

Privacy Policy Terms and Changes

By using the Cozy Wool online store or submitting a loyal customer application, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this privacy policy. We reserve the right to change the general terms of this privacy policy if necessary, with all loyal customers being notified.

Costs Associated with Returns

If you have placed an order and wish to exercise your cancellation or voluntary return rights (valid up to 14 days after receipt of goods), you must return the items (either partially or fully). If you placed an order as a guest or through your user account, you generally bear the return costs. As a goodwill gesture, we may cover your return costs unless your prior order behavior suggests otherwise (e.g., how frequently you return items, the nature of your returns, or the condition of returned goods). Based on this, we calculate a numeric percentage value to cover return-related costs. This value is updated regularly. Historical values are deleted after 24 months.

The legal basis for this data processing is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Article 6(1)(f) and Article 6(1)(b).

We aim to encourage sustainable customer behavior by offering discounts to customers who demonstrate environmentally conscious habits.
